Bottom living.  Feeding Unknown.  Size A holotype: Only one specimen has been found to date, and it was 50 cm long.  Reproduction Unkown.  Similar Species Unmistakable, since it is the only shark species that possesses only one dorsal fin and has five gill slits.  Endangerment Status in the IUCN Red List: No Entry found in Red List.  Danger to Humans Harmless.
